How does a Quarter Auction Work?
· Start by purchasing a numbered paddle.
· Your paddle number matches a ball in the drum.
· The auctioneer will tell you the next item up for bid. If you want a chance to win that item you put a quarter in the jar and hold up your paddle.
· If the drawn ball matches your paddle number you are a winner.
· If your number was drawn but you did not bid your quarter the auctioneer will continue drawing numbers until a winner is found.
Can I have more than one Paddle?
· Of course! Extra paddles can be purchased for $10.
· When the Auctioneer shares the next item up for bid you will now add a quarter to the jar for each paddle you would like to play and hold those paddles up in the air.
· Example: if you have 2 paddles but only choose to play one, you put your quarter in the jar and then decide which paddle to hold up. If the paddle you have in the air is called you win. If the paddle you have chosen to leave on the table is called there is NO winner, and the game moves on to the next number.
